It will take us downhill to a place where we will find a roadside crucifix and the parish church of Santa María de Castrelo (St Mary of Castrelo) of romantic origin, built on top of ancient ruins.

We take an asphalt road and will soon walk past hot springs on the way to the modern bridge of Castrelo (the original one was from the 12th century).
