From Melgaço towards Cevide, we enter Galicia through the place of Acivido. A historic place, border crossing with Portugal, an imaginary line that separates two nations united by centuries of history, it is the oldest border in Europe, at this point is the number one framework of both countries.

Section 1: Frieira - O Condado

From Acivido we will ascend through a path between walls to reach the place of Friera, from here ascending, the path will guide us to the church of Desteriz, on the left the rectory, we continue and we will arrive at a stone cross, we will leave it on our right and We will ascend to reach the place of Agra, from here we will continue along the OU-801 road towards O Condado, we will arrive at a strategic point on the route, the church of Santa María do Hospital do Condado, in this place the existence of a hospital has been documented.

Section 2: O Condado - Trado

Leaving this village, the path continues towards the village of A Carreira along a paved and dirt road to the small town of A Espiña with a breastplate of souls at a crossroads. From this point we leave the Padrenda town hall to enter the Pontedeva town hall. From the last village of A Espiña, we continue along the OU-801OU-193 road until we reach the Trado industrial estate, which goes down a dirt road until we reach the village of Trado.

Section 3: Trado - Vilanova da Barca

We will cross the village of Trado through the oldest area until we get close to the parish church. From here we go down a dirt road with some paved sections to reach Ponte Trado, a historic bridge that underwent various reforms. Once we cross the bridge we turn left that will take us along a path parallel to the Deva river to a pontoon, we will cross it and follow the dirt road that will take us to the village of Vilanova da Barca.

Section 4: Vilanova da Barca - Cortegada

We continue along the paved track and we will turn left to take a dirt track until we reach the new Cortegada Spa and from there to the center of the Villa passing near the church whose dedication is Santiago and inside there is a carving of Santiago Pilgrim.
