Working meeting in Portugal
Today the historian Castor Pérez Casal, representing the Association of Municipalities of the Miñoto Ribeiro Way, held a working meeting with the representatives of all the Chambers through which the Minhoto Ribeiro Caminho passes in neighboring Portugal; Braga, Vilaverde, Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez, Monçao and Melgaço.

At the meeting, the Official Research Group in Portugal has been created, which will be in charge of documenting the route in the neighboring country. The group will be coordinated and directed by the historian Cástor Pérez Casal and will be made up of historians, archaeologists and technicians.

There has also been talk of the road marking, reaffirming the commitment to sign and clean before the end of this year. It is trying to have a meeting at the highest level for the month of November, where the collaboration protocol of the 6 Chambers on the Caminho Minhoto Ribeiro will be signed. The meeting will be attended by the presidents of the Chambers, a representative of Tourism from the Government of Portugal, a representative of the Xunta de Galicia, the President of the Association of Municipalities of the Miñoto Ribeiro Way and the research group.

At the meeting, it was also stated that two producers will carry out documentaries on this pilgrimage path from Braga to Santiago de Compostela.
